Kansas
City Royals - The Kansas City Royals will continue to honor individuals
in all branches of military service in 2007 with the creation of the
Military Mondays program. All active and retired military personnel
and their families will receive
complimentary admission to any Monday home game, excluding Opening
Day, during the upcoming season. In addition, members of the military
will receive half-price tickets to all other home games, excluding
Opening Day and the St. Louis Cardinals series, during the 2007
campaign as part of the club's expanded military ticket program. In
addition to this season-long initiative, the Royals will also
be honoring military personnel during two special nights at
Kauffman Stadium in 2007. Military Appreciation Night, which
will feature a
patriotic pre-game ceremony honoring local heroes, is set
for Saturday, June 16 as Kansas City takes on the Florida
Marlins at 6:10 p.m. The first 20,000 fans in attendance
will receive a free "Stars and Stripes" Royals
cap. Special ticket locations and pricing for members of
the military are available through the Royals Group Sales

The Royals will also host a Salute to
Uniformed Heroes Night on Tuesday, Sept. 11. All police officers, firefighters,
emergency personnel and members of the military will be offered
complimentary best available tickets to see Kansas City battle

ticket program are outlined below.
MILITARY MONDAYS
Individuals must process and
present a valid military photo ID.
Tickets will be limited to the individual and three family
members. Seat locations will be in the
lower-level Outfield Plaza sections, based on availability (excluding
Opening Day).
Tickets will be distributed
only on game days at the Guest Ticket Window located on the home plate
side of Kauffman Stadium. The window will open 90 minutes prior to game
time.
HALF-PRICE TICKET PROGRAM
Individuals must process
and present a valid military photo ID.
Tickets will be limited to the individual and three family
members. Seat locations available
for purchase through this discounted program will be: Outfield Plaza,
View Box,
View Level Infield, Hy-Vee Box
and Hy-Vee View Level, based on availability (excluding Opening Day and the
Cardinals series). Tickets may be purchased
in advance or on game days (beginning 90 minutes before game time) at any
Kauffman Stadium ticket window. All branches of the United
States Military, including the National Guard, are invited to participate
in the program. For more information, please

Sunday
through Thursday Home Games bring a valid Military or VA ID Card to the
Guest Services Window 90 minutes prior to game time and you can receive
up to 4 complimentary tickets to that game.
St. Louis CardinalsThey will give 1 home game standing room only ticket if available to the Serviceperson only.
There are numerous sites out there with military/veteran discounts. Quite a few require you to become a member or subscribe to their site. Here are just a couple that I've ran across that don't cost and you don't have to subscribe. If you run across any others please email us so that we can add them.
In addition to the discounts listed here, make sure you check your State VA website for discounts on state parks, fishing & hunting licenses and motor vehicle discounts.
